I want to sell my surfboard, but I have no idea what it's worth....?
I have a 6'7" fish tail that was hand shaped for me. It was made by a friend of mine about a year ago. Very nice board, with Dakine leash....it has never seen water and I want to sell it. I have no clue what to sell it for....any ideas?
Brian A is mostly right, but I disagree with selling it on craigslist. Some poor sucker who has no idea what he/she is getting will buy it (Yes, I know that's not your problem, but I am a moralist). Lots surf shops sell boards on consignment. Try that. They take a small percentage and put the board out on display for you. Who knows, if it is a nice board, it might find a good 'home'. that way, and you can make a couple bucks.
